Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Maddie C — 29 Dec 2009
Sense and Sensibility is funny and a joy to watch. You've got the two sisters thing going on, with one of them older, more sensible, and less passionate, who is nevertheless looking for love; and the younger, sillier, flirtatious one who always seems to get the gentlemen because she's prettier.
It's nicely done! Another Jane Austen favorite, but get ready to sit down for a while--it's really long. And you have to be in the mood for the repressed British atmosphere of that time period.
