Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Caio A — 24 Jan 2010
This movie could've been much better. It made me feel like I was watching a condensed "in the last episodes".
The most unpardonable flaw is the way it twists Elinor's personality in the scene where she cracks and start blaming and crying in her sister's bed. Such thing is SO FAR from Austen's Elinor it hurts to see.
Not wanting to sound cliché, but already sounding, the book is much better.
