Review of Senna (2010) by Aidan H — 12 Oct 2011
A beautiful, soaring documentary that sticks to it's collage-like structure of astonishingly well collated footage and maintains an unsettling, ominous, but ultimately respectful tone as it plays out the tragic tale of F1's most enigmatic hero, Ayrton Senna.
Asif Kapidia marks himself out as another excellent British talent worth watching out for, orchestrating the scenes swiftly to devastating and uplifting effect, it's excellent work - even for someone like me who utterly despises Formula 1 racing and Top Gear.
