Review of Semper Fight (2014) by Edward J — 07 Jul 2014
I have never been exposed to PTSD in veterans of our most recent wars, however I have been told from family and close friends that their reactions vary from person to person, yet this movie did a masterful job of portraying PTSD in as realistic a manner as possible with actors.
The acting isn't necessarily perfect, however I must say that I was entertained and engaged emotionally through the movie until the very end, engrossed in the crazy escapades of the four veteran soldiers and their misadventures.
There is a strong message underlying this found footage film that resonates in each character's every word and action, laying the foundation for much debate after viewing the movie. I'd just about recommend this movie to anyone, mind you, the ones who can handle intensely explicate language, reckless behavior, criminal misdemeanors and ill-purposed violence for negligible reasons.
