Review of Semi-Pro (2008) by Daniel D — 01 Aug 2011

I was extremely surprised at how entertained I was during this movie. I had it figured for a formulaic and predictable movie (and it is), but that didn't stop it from providing plenty of laughs and good times.

There are a lot of things to like about this movie, from the cast of characters to the setting, but a couple of highlights were the announce team and the dance routine. Even though most people thought it was one of Will Ferrell's weaker efforts, it's one of my favorites.

Does that make me the wrong audience for Ferrell?
