Review of Semi-Pro (2008) by Cameron F — 08 Aug 2012

Another high concept Will Ferrell movie with little happening above one's expectations. Though it does follow the usual plot points of its type and I don't think it's as funny as often as I'd like I can't help but feel it's a slightly underrated picture.

With Ferrell's Jackie Moon and his motto "Everybody love everybody" there's a likable innocence to the man-child underneath that rather delusional layer of ego.
