Review of Semi-Pro (2008) by Mako S — 29 Mar 2011

I understand why this failed. People were getting sick of Will Ferrell. Blades of Glory had just flopped, and the marketing was poor. However, I think this is one of his better movies. It's no Anchorman, and in some ways feels like a copy (taking place in the 70s, some strikingly similar scenes), but it's still very funny.

More so than Talladega Nights or Step Brothers, that's for sure.
