Review of Selma (2014) by Apryl P — 14 Feb 2015
This was hard for me to watch. It was so violent, so real. It reflects a time in American history that I am not proud of, and it does so with emotions that sometimes took me over. The portrayals are credible.
The dialogue fluid. The images realistic. But the violence. ... which, to be fair, the movie is supposed to show (this is the story being told).... The violence is what keeps me from rating it a 5Star.
For me, that rating means I *want* to watch it again.
