Selma is a story of people coming together to achieve humanity., and is so beautiful to watch. It did not dwell on violence and hatred as much as pointing out how people can unite in the face of power and abuse.
The performance of the cast is impeccable, and DuVernay deserved more applause for she has excelled in her storytelling.
