Every race, creed, ethnicity, and gender should see SELMA. If you thought you knew what was taught in school you don't know the half of it. The Gentleman who's name I cannot recall that played Dr.

King got the role perfectly. I think the movie was very accurate considering that the King Children would never have let a movie about a issue that so interested their Father be filmed without making authentically real.

I think that the crew was given full access to King's private letter's both personal and public, speech's, audio recordings, and recorded testimony from the original characters be it reel-to-reel, film reel, or tape.

The movie was gripping, powerful, emotional, brutally gritty with the violence and inhumanity on African-Americans at the time, and was good at keeping the Caucasian actors realistically in touch with their character whether for the cause or against.

This is a movie for families with children ages 10 and up who could easily understand what segregation meant to both sides of the movement and realize that we have come such a long way. I think the Reverend King would be proud if he were still with us today.
