This is truly an amazing and timely film. It is good to be reminded that while we have come far, there is so far to go. Scenes of police brutality are still a part of the black experience. We continue to see them on the news.
The performances were amazing. The fact that this got no Oscar nominations for acting or director is a bullshit. At least it got one for the amazing song, Glory.
