Review of Selma (2014) by Sean D — 08 Aug 2015
Selma is about the final chapter in the civil rights movement of the '50s-'60s. I guess. Segregation was supposed to end and for some reason, it didn't fully. Voting was still an issue along with really any type of government of political power being taken away from people of color still.
I thought the pacing was okay, but at times the film felt boring and some scenes could have been removed. The end was superb along with the whole last stretch of the film.
