Review of Selma (2014) by Maria J — 03 Oct 2015
This movie is about a place and time, a man, a very human man, who fights for something greater than himself, and weathers the sacrifices this entails. I would have liked to see more of the stories of the supporting characters.
The losses along the way felt like deep tragedies and part of me wanted to know more. The movie moves at its own easy pace which allows for a deep sinking in of the atmosphere of the time.
