A very good film which could have been excellent. Something was missing to make it greater than it was. I was expecting a more powerful movie. It was powerful and disturbing in parts (The first bridge scene in particular) but needed more, maybe a more experienced director would have got more from the piece (like McQueen on 12 Years A Slave, which is a great film).
The performance by David Oyelowo of the great man was excellent, how he was overlooked even for an oscar nomination is a mystery. Recommended.
