Review of Selena (1997) by Minister Krista — 01 Oct 2008

I am so grateful for my daughter Marleeshia who introduced these two wonderful legends to me. My daughter's most wanted Christmas gift from Santa was this video called "Selena". Never had I seen it, not only heard of it.

The Lord had really blessed me that year and I went out of my way to bless both of my girls that year with some of everything above and beyond. My daughter smiled and thanked me and her dad as she opened gifts of silver and gold, new TV, clothes and more clothes.

The final gift, I placed in a large shoe box under the tree and wrote,"Love from Santa": When she opened this box and found this video, tears were flowing everywhere, we got hugs, kisses, kisses and hugs.

The day after, we sat down and watched this video together as a family, from that night, I understood her connection as well as her emotional feelings to Selena. We shared the joy of this family connection, their strength and their unity to be one.

We were able to enhance those feelings because it is how we live as a family. We shed tears of sorrow as the loss were within our immediate family, because when you are a close net family, you can understand what another family is going through and as children of God, we should be able to feel as well as bare one another's pains and burdens.

For as Jennifer Lopez,this was where she was suppose to be. She reached inside and brought Selena to complete reality. If Jennifer Lopez ever by chance get to read this, YOU WERE AWESOME FROM BEGINNING TIL THE END - including the Video-Tape Cover!!! Selena is a movie that every connected family should sit down and watch on movie night.
