Review of Selena (1997) by Jose M — 29 Mar 2011
Fascinating film about the life and tragedy of Selena Perez. Her music is pertty good and mesmerizing, but it's shame she's gone. Jennifer Lopez does a great job in the flick, but lip synchs the performances, not surprisingly.
Olmos does an excellent job as the father, but I don't know how accurate his portrayal is. This magnetic and energitic flick is done well and worth the watch.
