Review of Seeking Justice (2011) by Craig W — 14 May 2012
Slightly akin to Death Sentence in the way that an ordinary man bites off more than he can chew when it comes to revenge over a loved one's misfortune but not as violent. More of a thinking mans revenge flick really and a good one at that, Cage gives a pretty good performance and seeing as his previous work has always been a little shaky as of late this does him justice. The idea of a secret vigilante mob with ties everywhere is cool and I can imagine it would be easy to fall in with them after something so terrible happens to you.
Jones is an outstandingly beautiful woman and Pearce is quite the clever and slightly creepy villain. A very good albeit slow and twisty film.
