Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by K W — 09 Oct 2013
With some fims, you see the flaws, yet, for some reason, you forgive them for it. You forgive the creators for casting Keria Knightley, for thinking she and Steven Carell could make a credible couple, for feeding the actors the occasional cliche dialogue, and for failing to properly build towards the climax.
And why? My guess is its original premise, Steve Carell, and the occasional truly funny scenes.
