Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by Niloo R — 27 Aug 2014

For the first half, I was so surprised and impressed at how funny and well-made this film was. the characters seemed unique and had integrity. there were also some genuine laughs without taking anything away from the more touching dramatic moments.

and then the second half happened ... everything the film had worked so hard to build in the first half just collapsed into an almost farcical and heavily mismatched nicholas sparks film as both characters completely undermined their arcs.
