Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by Angel P — 10 Jul 2013
Don't get all the negative reviews. This movie delivered exactly what it was supposed to. A few laughs (particularly the scene at Friendsy's), and real human emotion at the end of the world. Dodge's relationship with his dad, but more importantly, these two polar-opposites that find a connection they never before were able to find.
I thought both protagonists were exceptional, and for the folks complaining about the "weirdness" of the romance between Carell and younger Knightly, get a grip... this isn't a Hugh Hefner situation.
.. and it's a movie!
