Steve Carell just left the Office three years ago for his big movie career and this movie is proof that his characters are already becoming formulaic. This script was disjointed. This movie was just bad.
(Spoiler ALERT) ---- I think a film about the end of the world should not actually end with a boom and a bright light, that is, the actual end of the world. There were some funny moments. My favorite was the dinner party scene with Rob Cordry.
More of Cordry's character would have helped this hot mess of a film.
