I really liked this movie up until the end when it became just one of those clichéd romantic stories. Did I root for them? Yes. Did I want them to get together at the end? No. There just wasn't enough buildup for them to fall in love with each other as madly as they did.
It just fell short of that wee bit at the end, when it felt too predictable. Otherwise, I thought it was quite a well-made movie, told through a very different perspective. I really liked the tiny details the writer put in to show the behavioral changes in the society waiting for its impending doom.
Overall, an interesting watch.
