Review of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) by William L — 28 Mar 2014
It's a metaphor, like "Last Night" (1998) - and a good one too. Carell has done so much humor that it's hard for most people, I suspect, to see him doing this sorrowful, lonely character so well.
If approached as a serious piece of melancholia rather than a chuckle fest this movie is well worth watching.
