Review of Seed of Chucky (2004) by Jim M — 28 Jun 2009
Decient horror-comedy that goes on for about 20 minutes longer then it should. The gender-confused puppet son of Chucky and Tiffany resurects its parents who then go one to stir havoc all over Hollywood, kill Redman, and try to knock up Jennifer Tilly.
Gore is over-the-top enough that you know not to take anything seriously. Tilly is ether a good sport or hurting for a paycheck. Billy Boyd has fun with the confused Glen/Glenda, Brad Dourif is as always a welcome part of any movie, well John Waters is great as a sleazy paparizzi.
Good for a few laughs but don't expect any actual horror here. Best watched on TV where you don't have to shill out for it.
