And so the saga of chucky comes to an end (?) in this, the fifth and most wierd, comical and compleatly leftfield chucky of the lot, it's an ode to the bad taste camp cinema of john waters (who is even cast as a pervy pap) whilst also featuring a great refrence to ed woods glen or glenda, and an outrageous farce, which is mostly a black comedy satire on hollywood and a spoof of domestic dramas as the soft spoken, gender confused (he's not anatomicly correct) and non homicidal spawn of chucky and tiffany, a human doll freak, travels to america to where a movie is being made about chuckys legend and not knowing his parents are mass murdering lunatics resurects them through their new movie prop bodys on set, then they hide out in actress jennifer tillys hollywood mansion (in a wierd bit of meta humour playing herself as well as tiffany after playing the human form and voice of the chracter in the last movie) the three doll's form a very strange family unit and attempt to use tilly (about to star in a biblical epic which is in an extra bit of wierdness is directed by rapstar Redman also playing himself, remember him!?) as a vessel for their return to human form once more.

This really is a very odd film, brilliantly filthy, vulgar and blackly comic, and even featuring a random scene where chucky runs brittany spears (played by a look alike) off the road and into a ditch where she blows up (Chucky: "oops.

...i did it again! he,he") and also features a suprising emoitional honestness, and tragic drama (by way of a family of killer dolls!) and a wonderfull moment of ultimate realisation and acceptance from chucky.

This is a bit of a trashy masterpiece of bad taste camp and a dizzingly mad and unique postmodern horror comedy that cleverly satirises and rips apart both the series of films and hollwood as a whole.
