Review of See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) by Gary S — 25 Jun 2008
The remarkable duo of Pryor and Wilder reunite in this 80's classic comedy. Yes, it's a bit of a 'one-joke' movie that gets milked for all it's worth, but with laughs like this, who cares? The two leads are just so much fun and while it may be a bit dated, the comedic timing of Richard Pryor is pretty timeless.
Joan Severance and a youngish Kevin Spacey make for a sinister duo of baddies, and even if you saw this way back when, I highly recommend revisiting this well loved classic from one of the truly great comedic duos.
