Review of See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) by Steve B — 18 Nov 2011
Since seeing Wilder and Pryor in 'Stir Crazy' I've always been interested in seeing any movies including these comic geniuses as separates or once again together. They fulfilled my wishes in this amusing outing.
The idea of the movie, a blind and deaf couple of guys witnessing a murder is comical in itself but apart from some scenes I found the pace a little drawn out and the humour not massively funny. A little too slapstick or silly perhaps, trying to hard to be funny? I can't place it but good enough to see and take lightheartedly.
In the Police headquarters is a good scene, seeing the Police getting frustrated with them.
