Review of Secuestro Express (2004) by Guillermo S — 15 Jan 2007
The movie shows a latinamerican kidnapping express with a possible very pesimistic, but believeble periferial view, flooded with corruption even in the control systems.
It shows the fractured society that covers not just Caracas, but at least all big cities in latinamerica.
The movie has some "always questionable" political stands, trying to make reasonable the violence from the people that live surrounded by misery.
But still the movie shows a reallity that unfortunately is there. Just check that the argument of the kidnappers delutes itself when you see the increment in violent crimes with governments that don't seem to favor the weathly part of the society.
