Surprisingly good film, especially given the terrible reception. Some of the shots are laughably bad, but the fire and monster effects are awesome. The mystery and heroic bloodshed elements play and the direction is striking.
No, it's not The Host, but it's a damn fine monster movie that fans of the genre shouldn't miss.
