Ohhh! What a powerful movie. Both Brenda Blethyn and Marianne Jean-Baptiste are unforgettable. I love them both. And the rest of the cast: Timothy Spall, Claire Rushbrook. What a great, great movie. And to think that none of the actors know where the story was heading as they went into doing the film (because of Mike Leigh's improvisational way of directing and not sharing the full script from the beginning).
