Maggie Gyllenhaal is quickly becoming one of my favourite actress. Once again she isn't afraid to take on challenging roles that people would find quite unusual. Both her and James Spade have great chemistry.
The style and tone of the film are perfect. Although the subject matter is taboo it never feels that it feels natural and it fits the characters. You never question Lee's love for Mr. Grey I like how their relationship developed over the course of the film.
The production design was amazing the sets and set dressing was really different and unique.
