Review of Secretary (2002) by Luis Angel G — 11 Apr 2009

A tale of a mentally dysfunctional hottie looking for a stable job and, of course, "the one". She is pain-loving and submissive. Her new boss is dominant and... and... weird! I quite liked the Maggie Gyllenhaal character, but I could not get the James Spader character at all.

He likes to spank her secretary, okay, but he is also fickle, insecure, mad, selfish and, in my eyes, quite contradictory. Still, this is a very original story that shows a very rare way of expressing true love.
