I don't even know where to begin... I cannot find the right words or phrases to describe this very quirky, very weird, very darkly comedic, very messed up love story... It's, by far, the weirdest, most awkward romantic comedy-drama I've ever seen (I have yet to see "Harold and Maude".
..I hear that's a weird one too). And yet, it works. The performances are exceptional...and Maggie Gyllenhaal really "risks" it all. I still don't know what to say... It's simply a "WTF?!" movie.
