Disturbing, funny, strange, awkward, brilliant and sweet all in one? I had no clue a movie about S and M could be this good. I've always liked Maggie Gyllenhaal and this is her best role. She gives her character layers and so much depth.
James Spader is such an underrated actor. His quiet subtlety makes you so interested in what's going on with him. I loved the ending to this.
