Secretariat is another feel good sports movie from Disney ala Miracle, Remember the Titans and The Rookie. Similar to these movies, Secretariat is based on a true story. It tells the story of the last horse to win the elusive Triple Crown in 1973 and the housewife who owned him after taking over the family farm.
I must say that Disney has this down to a science, the feel good sports movie formula just works for them. I really enjoyed this one, the story and especially the racing sequences. The story is predictable but it was still great to watch.
The cast did a great job as well. I definitely recommend it. Good rental if you are looking for something to inspire you.
