Review of Secretariat (2010) by Chris L — 30 Aug 2011

I usually hate these types of Disney movies because they tell a true story but it feels so cheesy and somewhat focused to the younger fans. This movie surpassed my expectations and did a bang up job telling the story of the greatest race horse ever while injecting emotion and comedy into it.

This is definitely Diane Lane's best role so far and John Malkovich added the aspect of much needed humour. Being Canadian and bilingual allowed me to appreciate the humour of his role. I always like the updates at the end of these movies as well.
