Secret in Their Eyes with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman is a remake of "El secreto de sus ojos" which was made in 2010.
The new movie jumps between post 9/11 in 2002 and 2015. It is about a rising team of investigators who are suddenly torn apart when they discover that one of their own teenage daughters has been brutally murdered.
Sadly the movie does not deliver the suspense and is just plain average. On the good side Julia Roberts was great.
