The original film that this is based on is absolutely incredible and I just felt there was no reason for this film to exist. while it has some very tense moments and Chiwetel Ejiofor and Nicole Kidman all give good performances and Julia Roberts kills it in her role, I just can't seem to justify the existence of this film.
it had some decent moments, and it's semi entertaining, it's just a very by the numbers, cliched cop procedural drama.
