Review of Secret in Their Eyes (2015) by Grant M — 28 May 2016

For a thriller this film lacked a genuine thrill appeal, I did enjoy the story line which was well crafted and strung together. The plot was solid and did not seem too translucent but I feel the lead characters lacked depth.

During the "AHA" scenes the actors did well to play out the storyline, however I feel there was a lack of edginess or oomph. Maybe best toleave the originals to the originals!
