Review of Secrecy (2008) by Kelly H — 28 Apr 2008
This is a documentary about the rise of secrecy in the US government, and the differing attitudes and changing perspectives on the topic. It covers a fair amount of ground from the Supreme Court Precedent to Guantanamo Bay and Abu Graib.
It is info packed, and it didn't hook me right off from the start, but it was interesting, and there were some great interviews, especially the JAG lawyer that represented a Guantanamo Bay detainee, and a wackadoodle female CIA agent who was really intense and intensely weird in her interviews.
Reminded me of "Why We Fight", which I also enjoyed.
