Review of Seconds Apart (2011) by James . — 27 Jul 2011
'Seconds apart' achieves something few horror films even come close to, it manages the triumvirate of being well acted, well shot and incredibly chilling. The twins are disturbing to say the least and the interplay between them in short bursts maximizes their impact on screen.
Orlando Jones also gives a pretty decent performance as the suspicious detective, unconvinced that the spat of suicides in the area are quite as they seem. The plot progresses well and fleshes out the twins as the film evolves more into a psychological thriller, which doesn't detract from the scares at all.
