Review of Seconds (1966) by Paul G — 04 Jun 2007
The first half of this film is amazing: mysterious, moody, and strangely cool, "Seconds" offers plenty of food for thought on topics such as medical ethics. Unfortunately, Rock Hudson can't save the second half of the film from some unnecessary plot threads, and the film ends up winding down to an underwhelming close.
However, the first half hour of the film, with its surreal title sequence, is worth checking out.
