Review of Seconds (1966) by Scott K — 09 Jul 2008
Thoughtful, intelligent underrated piece from John Frankenheimer, sees a bored middle aged banker who is contacted by a mysterious agency and offered a second chance at life; he is given a new, younger, face and a reinvented character and history...
Rock Hudson is surprisingly good as the remade, younger version of the man embarking on an unsettling new life...
The photography is excellent throughout and the overall feel is chilling and atmospheric... Definitely recommended...
