Review of Secondhand Lions (2003) by Ian M — 05 Jun 2010
A cute family movie about a boy, with a neglecting mother who spends some time with his 'crazy' great-uncles. The film itself is cheesy throughout but pretty funny, and shows how the boy interacts with them as they spend some of their mysterious riches.
During the film there are flash backs to fantastic stories about how these riches were achieved, but the question is are they true. In the end the boy learns to love his Great-Uncles and vis-versa, and they become a little happy family.
Like I said the film it's self is fairly predictable but yet enjoyable. I don't know if I would watch it over again but it kept me interested enough and was fairly enjoyable.
