Review of Searching for Sugar Man (2012) by Vicki O — 28 Jan 2013

I just watched this movie and thought it was GREAT. It was written beautifully, slowly unfolding to the incredible end. It showed that Rodriguez is a very humble man who finally realized incredible fame (bigger than Elvis) but was able to return home to Detroit and remain who he is, giving away most of his money, and living as he aways did.

His music is wonderful & plays throughout the movie. I hope that it is discovered who made a fortune from his record sales in South Africa. Although I doubt if he matters to him.
