Imagine you're a superstar and don't know it. That's the story of Rodriguez. A talented musician who made three albums in the early 70s, his music never caught in the US. In South Africa, however, his music made him bigger than Elvis.
This documentary tells the story of two South Africans to find what became of him. Poignant and sweet, laced with Rodriguez's music, this movie is one of the best docs I've ever seen. Highly recommended for everyone.
