Excellent documentary about the man behind the legend of Rodriguez. Rodriguez was popular here in Australia in the 1970s and everyone owned a copy of "Cold Fact". I saw Rodriguez live in 1980 and he actually spoke at the concert about his intentions for running for Mayor of Detroit! Rodriguez plays at the Byron Bay Blues Festival almost every year and was in my hometown very recently playing at a couple of intimate venues In light of this, I was somewhat bemused by the search itself but that in no way deterred my enjoyment of the documentary and the wonderful music.
