I've seen the cover of this DVD for years, and honestly have never been interested in seeing it. Well, I finally did and I've got to say: this film needs better advertising. It's got a great story, one of Steven Zaillian's (Schindler's List, A Civil Action) best, filled with endearing characters, laughs and perhaps a tear or two.
It's also got fantastic cinematography from the genius Conrad Hall. The best film of its year (1993)? Not a chance. But enjoyable? Ya betcha.
