I had learned about Bobby Fischer in school through Social Studies class and was reminded of him a few years later. Although this film is false leading and only refers to A childhood chess prodigy, it's significance is powerful and complimentary.
The film itself avoids dealing with a Parent whose also your coach... consumes today's alarming problem of exposed kids who are pressured to grow up and steal their childhood innocence.
