Review of Searching (2018) by Ginak — 02 Sep 2018
Certainly this movie is worth your time if you like a tight plot with surprising twists and turns, especially at the end. But this was also a very unemotional film, considering that it was about the search for a lost motherless child.
The film was much more successful as a novel use of internet “search” technology than as story about human beings in a terrible situation. I wasn’t bored, but I wasn’t really engaged either.
